A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 412 helicopter was deployed today (08) to battle a forest fire in the Raththanagolla–Imbulpe area of Balangoda.

Conducting Bambi bucket aerial operations in coordination with the Disaster Management Centre, the mission aimed to prevent the fire’s spread. The Defence Ministry said efforts will continue with local authorities as needed.
