Eppawala Police have arrested two 14-year-old piriven students over the burglary of a mobile phone shop, where smartphones and cash worth more than Rs. 1 million were allegedly stolen.

Police recovered six smartphones valued at over Rs. 1 million and Rs. 5,000 in cash, with the suspects identified using CCTV footage, IMEI tracking and forensic evidence.

The two minors are scheduled to be produced before the Thambuttegama Magistrate's Court, while investigations are continuing.
