The National Building Research Organisation has extended the Level-3 red landslide evacuation warning for several areas in Kandy, Kegalle, Kurunegala and Matale districts until 4.00 p.m. tomorrow(08). 

Residents in affected Divisional Secretariat Divisions have been advised to evacuate immediately due to continued instability following heavy rainfall. 

Areas under warning include 20 DSDs in Kandy, eight in Kegalle, three in Kurunegala and nine in Matale, along with surrounding localities. 

Authorities urge the public to remain alert to further updates and follow safety instructions issued by disaster management officials.
