A delegation from the Tamil National Council met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay in Chennai today and submitted a memorandum on issues affecting Sri Lankan Tamils.

The delegation, led by MP Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam, stated that the memorandum addressed political and human rights concerns, a political solution for the North, fisheries issues, and the welfare of Sri Lankan Tamil refugees in India.
