Sri Lanka has recorded 100,871 dengue cases so far this year, with the death toll rising to 78, according to the National Dengue Control Unit.

The Western Province accounts for 52,906 cases, while Gampaha has recorded the highest number at 21,377.

A total of 37 Medical Officer of Health (MOH) areas have been identified as dengue high-risk zones.
