The Constitutional Council has invited nominations from civil society to fill a vacancy on the Right to Information Commission under the RTI Act.
Parliament’s Department of Communication stated that nominees must be distinguished individuals with expertise in areas such as law, governance, public administration, journalism, science and technology, or management.
Eligible nominees must not hold political office, public or judicial office, be linked to a political party, or engage in business or professional practice.
Nominations must be submitted using the prescribed form via the Parliament website on or before 15 February.
