Formix Private Limited successfully concluded the inaugural physical session of its Formix C-Suite Circle at Shangri-La Colombo on 29 June 2026, bringing together HR professionals, university representatives, and business leaders to discuss the future of human resources in the era of artificial intelligence.
The event marked the launch of "Future Talent for Enterprises," a complimentary AI and HR development programme designed to equip HR professionals with practical knowledge and future-ready skills. Fifteen HR professionals representing organizations and universities across Sri Lanka participated in the first training programme, gaining practical insights into the application of artificial intelligence in recruitment, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and modern HR operations.
According to Formix, the programme was developed based on the ideas, discussions, and industry challenges identified through its Formix C-Suite Circle and Formix HR Circle. The company explained that these platforms were established to bring together senior executives and HR leaders to exchange knowledge, identify emerging workforce challenges, and develop practical initiatives that support the future of the profession.
Formix stated that the initiative reflects what it believes is its responsibility as one of Sri Lanka's leading recruitment and HR consulting firms to contribute to the long-term development of the country's HR profession. Rather than limiting its role to recruitment and executive search, the company said it is committed to developing future-ready HR professionals by creating opportunities for learning, collaboration, and industry engagement.
Speaking at the event, Ramesh Jayanithu, Founder and CEO of Formix, said the future of human resources depends on professionals who are prepared to embrace technology while maintaining a people-first approach.
"Artificial intelligence is transforming the workplace faster than ever before. Our objective is to ensure that HR professionals are equipped with the practical knowledge and leadership skills required to thrive in this new era. Through the Formix C-Suite Circle and HR Circle, we hope to create a platform where industry leaders can work together to shape the future of HR in Sri Lanka."
The programme featured knowledge-sharing sessions delivered by Ramesh Jayanithu, Founder and CEO of Formix; Miyurangi Fernando, Head of Talent at Formix; Ureshi Pathirana, Department Head at Formix; Harsha Fonseka, Head of Marketing at Formix; and Viraj Fernando, Founder and CEO of LVRA Global. The sessions focused on emerging recruitment trends, AI-powered HR practices, employer branding, marketing for talent acquisition, and the evolving expectations of the modern workforce.
Formix noted that the Formix C-Suite Circle serves as a collaborative forum for senior business leaders to discuss organizational and workforce challenges, while the Formix HR Circle provides a platform for HR professionals to exchange knowledge, share industry insights, and support continuous professional development. The company stated that insights gathered through these communities will continue to shape future training programmes, research initiatives, and industry discussions.
The event also received media and production support from LVRA Global, which partnered with Formix to deliver creative production, event coverage, and digital media for the programme.
Following the success of the inaugural physical event, Formix announced its intention to continue organizing Formix Circle programmes throughout the year, expanding opportunities for HR professionals, business leaders, and future talent to collaborate, learn, and contribute to the advancement of Sri Lanka's HR industry.
The company said it remains committed to building stronger connections between industry and education while preparing professionals for the future of work through innovation, collaboration, and practical learning initiatives. https://formix.live/
