The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) says a 12-hour water cut will be in effect from 9.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. today (04).

The interruption will affect Colombo 01–15 and several surrounding areas, including Battaramulla, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Moratuwa, Maharagama and Piliyandala.

The water cut is due to maintenance work at the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant and electrical upgrades at pumping stations.
