The Indian Naval Ship (INS) SATPURA, a Shivalik-class stealth multi-role frigate arrived at the Port of Colombo for replenishment enabling operational turnaround yesterday (20). The visiting ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) in compliance with time-honoured naval traditions, the SLN said.

INS SATPURA is a 142.5 m long frigate, which is manned by a crew of 403. The warship is commanded by Captain Vikas Garg.
