A live bomb has been found in the Weerakodithola Reserve in Karuwalagaswewa, Puttalam.  

According to police sources, the discovery was made after an individual, who had entered the reserve to collect firewood, provided information about the suspicious device.  

Following a report to the Puttalam Magistrate's Court, an order was issued to defuse the bomb. The disposal operation was carried out successfully by the Special Task Force (STF).
