The Sri Lankan Cabinet has approved a proposal to sign an agreement with Antigua and Barbuda to establish formal diplomatic relations. 

This move aims to foster mutual benefits and strengthen cooperation in political, socio-economic, and cultural fields, completing Sri Lanka’s diplomatic outreach to 13 Latin American and Caribbean nations.
