The Court of Appeal yesterday (23) dismissed, without taking it up for hearing, a writ petition seeking an order to postpone this year’s GCE Advanced Level Examination, scheduled to be held next month.

The Court announced its decision after giving lengthy consideration to the submissions made in relation to the petition. The petition had been filed by a group of students who are due to sit the 2026 A/L Examination for the first and second time. They sought to postpone the exam by two months.
