A foot march organised by Buddhist monks in support of imprisoned Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero and the religious rights of Buddhist monks is continuing for the third day today (12).

The march began near the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy on 10 October under the themes “Justice for the Robe” and “National Determination Pooja and Freedom Foot March”.

Today’s leg is scheduled to begin in Kegalle and proceed towards Warakapola. The march is expected to reach Colombo on 15 October, passing through Nittambuwa and Kadawatha.
