International R&B star Ne-Yo has apologised to Sri Lankan fans following the cancellation of his scheduled concert in Colombo. 

In a social media post, the singer stated that he was unable to proceed due to unforeseen circumstances, despite looking forward to performing for local fans. 

He noted his deepest apologies and expressed hope of returning to Sri Lanka soon. 

The concert, scheduled for 28 December, was cancelled at the last minute, prompting public backlash and fraud complaints against the organisers, according to media reports.
