The Election Commission (EC) has issued guidelines for the 6 May, 2025 LG Elections. 

Each voter will receive one ballot paper showing only party names, symbols, and independent group details. 

Voters must mark one (X) in the box next to their chosen party or group no other marks are allowed. 

Ballots with extra markings will be rejected. 

Voters must bring one of ten accepted ID forms; a polling card is not mandatory to vote.
