Former Minister Johnston Fernando has been appointed Head of Operations for the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).

The decision was made during a key meeting at former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s residence, as the party strategizes for future elections.

Fernando will lead grassroots and district-level mobilisation efforts to strengthen the SLPP’s national outreach.
