The Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) has decided to resume vehicle parking fee collection from tomorrow (23).

The Municipal Commissioner stated the decision was taken at the Standing Committee on Finance.

Parking operations will return to normal from 6.00 a.m.

The CMC noted that fee collection was suspended from March 18 due to traffic congestion near fuel stations.

It stated the situation has improved following the National Fuel Pass system and fuel distribution by vehicle registration numbers.
