Several senior officers of the Sri Lanka Police have been transferred with immediate effect, following approval from the National Police Commission. 

Key changes include SSP C. Gunaratne taking over as Director of the Police College, SSP A.J. Gunasekara moving to Mount Lavinia Division, and SSP H.W.I.S. Muthumala appointed to lead the Bureau for the Investigation of Abuse of Children and Women.
