Former Minister Wimal Weerawansa, along with a group of civil society representatives, has commenced a continuous ‘Satyagraha’ campaign outside the Ministry of Education. 

The protest demands the withdrawal of the new education reforms and calls for Prime Minister 

(PM) Harini Amarasuriya to step down from her post as Minister of Education .
