Cabinet Spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa announced today (28) that an investigation has been initiated into the disappearance of a $600,000 payment made by Sri Lanka Post to the US Post. 

The investigation follows a complaint from the US Post, which reported not receiving the funds. 

Minister Jayatissa stated that authorities are currently examining the matter to determine what happened.
