The Ministry of Justice has sent the draft bill to abolish the pension scheme for Members of Parliament (MPs) to the Attorney General (AG) for review.

The Ministry stated that once the AG's observations are received, the bill will be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers for approval before being presented to Parliament.

This move is part of the government's effort to address public concerns and fulfill its pledge to reform entitlements for public officials.
