President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has decided to hand over 500 houses built in Norochcholai, Ampara, to beneficiaries 14 years after construction. 

The housing project, funded by the Saudi Arabian Government in 2009 for families displaced by the 2004 tsunami, will be expedited following discussions with Saudi Envoy Khalid Hamoud Alkahtani.
