The Department of Meteorology has announced that showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the districts of Galle, Matara, Kalutara, and Ratnapura.

This forecast was issued today (09) at 4 p.m.

The rest of the island is expected to experience predominantly dry weather with no significant rainfall.

Additionally, the department predicts foggy conditions in some areas of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva, North-Central, and North-Western provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts, during the early hours of the morning.
