The Department of Meteorology forecasts frequent showers in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, and North-western provinces, with heavy rainfall up to 100mm in some areas.

Showers are also expected in the Northern Province and Anuradhapura.

Strong winds of 50–60 km/h may affect several regions, including central hills, Trincomalee, and Northern areas.

The public is urged to take precautions against potential wind-related damage.
