The Colombo Navam Maha Perahera will take place at Gangaramaya Vihara on 31 January and 1 February, featuring decorated floats depicting key historical events, including the arrival of Arahat Mahinda and the Sacred Tooth Relic. 

The procession will include around 8,000 dancers and elephants. The sacred relics from India will be exhibited from 4 to 11 February. 

Devotees are advised to visit in white attire and avoid bringing valuables. Security and crowd management measures are in place, with police urging the public to cooperate for a safe event.
