Former Minister Udaya Gammanpila stated that former State Intelligence Service Director Major General (Retd.) Suresh Sallay is expected to appeal the court order directing him to provide the passwords to his laptop and mobile phone.

Gammanpila noted that while Sallay respects the court's ruling, his legal team is expected to challenge the order, citing legal and security concerns over compelling a suspect to provide access to digital devices.
