Former SriLankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption(CIABOC).

The arrest is linked to investigations into an Airbus aircraft deal involving an alleged US$2 million bribe.

Chandrasena was taken into custody after providing a statement to the commission today (12).
