Several spells of showers are expected in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara districts today (11).

Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Uva and Eastern provinces and in the Mullaittivu district after 2.00 p.m.

The public has been advised to take adequate precautions against temporary, localised strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
