Sri Lanka Railways will launch the Ella Weekend Express, a new luxury train between Colombo Fort and Badulla, from 16 August.

 The service, aimed at local and international tourists, runs Saturdays to Badulla and returns Sundays, offering 350 seats for a scenic weekend escape.
