This year, on 12 December 2025, Taj Samudra, Colombo marked Christmas in its own understated way, hosting its annual Christmas carols for in-house guests at the Lattice Lobby Lounge.

The evening unfolded simply, with associates welcoming guests through softly sung carols, allowing tradition and togetherness to take centre stage.

Seasonal lighting across the gardens and lobby added to the calm festive mood, while a gingerbread hut nestled inside the hotel became a small reminder of the joy and nostalgia that Christmas brings.

The atmosphere was relaxed and unhurried, offering guests a moment of comfort amid the city’s year-end pace.
