The Public Health Inspectors’ Union is considering an island-wide strike over the transfer of a Public Health Inspector who provided a statement to the Health Ministry’s Investigation Unit regarding alleged fraud and corruption at the Airport Health Office.

The union claims the transfer was carried out in violation of administrative procedures.

Its Executive Committee is scheduled to meet today (19) to decide whether to begin strike action from tomorrow.
