Sri Lanka has recorded 92,011 dengue cases and 68 deaths so far this year, according to the National Dengue Control Unit.

A total of 96 Medical Officer of Health areas have been identified as high-risk areas.

The Western Province has recorded the highest number of cases at 48,725, followed by the Southern Province with 13,533.

July recorded the highest monthly total so far, with 29,968 cases, while 6,671 cases were reported during the first 15 days of August.
