A man and a woman have been injured in a shooting incident reported at Sumithra Rama Road in Kotahena.

According to police, the victims sustained gunshot wounds and were admitted to hospital for treatment.

The motive behind the shooting and the identities of the suspects remain unknown at this stage.

Kotahena Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
