The Excise Department announced that liquor stores across Sri Lanka will remain closed on 12, 13, and 14 April.

The decision has been made in light of the upcoming Poya Day (12) and the Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival (13 and 14).

The Excise Department warned that legal action will be taken against liquor stores operating during this period.
