Former Colombo Municipal Councillor Kithsiri Rajapaksa, son of ‘Maradane Choppe,’ was arrested last night (28) for allegedly threatening a homeowner and his daughter over a land dispute on Kent Road, Dematagoda.

He reportedly visited the site with officials and issued death threats.

Rajapaksa is set to appear before the Aluthkade Courts today (29).
