- SLC Major Clubs Limited Over Tourney
Two games concluded yesterday (31 December) where Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club and Kandy Customs Cricket Club recorded wins against Ragama Cricket Club and Ace Capital Cricket Club, respectively. The players had time to get ready for 31st night celebrations because, interestingly, both games ended pretty early with low-scoring affairs.
On Saturday (30 December), five encounters ended with no result and one game was abandoned without a ball bowled.
The following games ended with no result:
Colts vs. Police SC
Moors vs. Sebastianites
CCC vs. Air Force
SSC vs. Panadura SC
Badureliya vs. Nugegoda SWC
The match between Kurunegala Youth CC and Negombo CC was abandoned.

Fresh out of Wesley College, 19-year-old former Sri Lanka Youth player Chamath Gomez’s four-wicket haul with a 2.00 economy was not enough as Tamil Union previously rattled Ragama for a paltry 92.
