36 people from 6 families were evacuated to safe locations due to the risks of landslides in the High Forest area of Nuwara Eliya today (30). 

According to the Nuwara Eliya District Disaster Unit, arrangements have been made to provide necessary food items to the evacuated families through the Disaster Relief Services Centre.
