Sri Lanka have climbed back into the top four of the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings, moving up one spot to fourth place with a rating of 103.
According to the latest rankings update on 10 August, Sri Lanka (4009 points from 39 matches) overtook Pakistan, who slipped to fifth with a rating of 102.
India continue to lead the table with a dominant 124 rating, followed by New Zealand and world champions Australia, who are tied on 109 rating points but separated by decimal differences.
The top 10 is completed by South Africa (6th), Afghanistan (7th), England (8th), West Indies (9th), and Bangladesh (10th).
Charith Asalanka’s team is next due to be in action against Zimbabwe when they take on the latter in a three match ODI and T20 series in that country from late this month.
