The Ministry of Digital Economy will begin issuing digital identity cards in April 2025, with data collection now in its final stages. 

Citizens can submit their details via divisional secretariats. 

The first phase includes facial recognition and fingerprint collection, while the second phase will add biometric data like retinal scans. 

New applicants will receive digital IDs first, followed by existing ID holders.
