The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court (MC) granted bail to Kelum Harshana, arrested for allegedly promoting LTTE ‘Maaveerar Naal’ celebrations.

According to reports, it was granted after the court found no evidence linking the charges to the promotion of terrorism.

Three suspects, aged 28, 35, and 45, were arrested on 30 November for sharing images and video clips of LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran and circulating misleading old videos under Sri Lanka’s Penal Code and Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA).
