Teachers and non-academic staff of national schools staged a protest near the Presidential Secretariat today(05).

Protesters stated that the enrollment privilege allowing staff with three years of service to admit their children to national schools was suspended from 2025.

They noted that discussions with the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Education have not resulted in a solution.

The protest involved teachers, non-academic staff and their children.
