• Drugs and weapons found in possession including with an accomplice 

Two suspects including the suspected leader of the organised crime gang operating in the Northern Province, known as the ‘Aava Gang’, and who is known by the alias ‘Vinod’, have been arrested by the Chunnakam Police.

According to the Police, ‘Vinod’ was found in possession of two grams and 400 milligrams of heroin at the time of arrest on Tuesday (11). His accomplice was arrested with a hand grenade and a sword. 

The arrests were made during a special raid conducted by the Chunnakam Police.
