Sri Lanka's third nano satellite, named BIRDS-X DRAGONFLY, is set to be deployed into orbit today at 2:15 PM local time from the International Space Station (ISS).
The satellite, which was developed with the technical expertise of Sri Lankan engineers, marks a significant milestone in the country's space research efforts.
A collaborative project between the Arthur C. Clarke Institute for Modern Technologies and Japan’s Kyushu Institute of Technology, the satellite is designed to carry out three primary space research missions.
