Sri Lanka's largest tourism exhibition, Tourism Renaissance 2025 (Sancharaka Udawa 2025), opened today (23) at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
Organized by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) and the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO), the two-day event brings together 250 exhibitors representing key tourism sectors.
The exhibition offers a crucial platform for small and medium-scale enterprises and aspiring entrepreneurs to access market opportunities.
Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath declared 2025 the "Year of Tourism Renaissance," with an ambitious goal of generating $5 billion from the sector.
Senior officials, industry leaders, and foreign dignitaries, including the German Ambassador, were present at the opening.
