The Ministry of Finance has announced that the January allowances for beneficiaries of the first and second phases of the Aswesuma program have been deposited into their bank accounts. 

For the first phase, a total of Rs. 11.23 billion has been allocated to benefit 1,415,584 families. 

The second phase will see allowances distributed to 248,454 beneficiary families.
