A few showers may occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North Western provinces, and in the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts, according to the Department of Meteorology.

Mainly dry weather is expected in other parts of the island.

Winds of 40–50 km/h may occur at times in the Northern, North Central and North Western provinces, and in the Matale, Hambantota and Trincomalee districts.
