The Election Commission (EC) announced that deposit submissions for the Local Government (LG) elections close today (19) at 12 noon, with no extensions. 

Nominations will be accepted until 12 noon tomorrow (20), followed by a 1.5-hour window to file objections. 

The election date will be announced afterward.
