Alleged drug trafficker Nilanga Sampath Silva, alias ‘Panadura Nilanga’, has been remanded until 3 September by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.

The suspect, who had been held under a detention order, was produced before court by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today (25).

Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama ordered that he be further remanded as investigations into his alleged involvement in drug trafficking continue.
