The Road Development Authority (RDA) has urged motorists to follow cautionary messages on expressway signboards during ongoing heavy rainfall.

Drivers have been advised to switch on headlights and maintain a speed limit of 60 km/h.

Motorists are also advised to keep a safe distance and avoid sudden braking to prevent skidding.

The RDA warned that adverse weather conditions may increase the risk of accidents on expressways.
