Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe has been moved from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to a normal ward at the National Hospital, Colombo, as his health has improved. 

According to United National Party (UNP) Assistant Leader Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, the former president's health has been steadily improving. 

UNP General Secretary Thalatha Athukorala stated that all decisions regarding his health are being made by his family
